OUR ELDERS 

            On May 29th 2011 the church appointed two elders to oversee the work here.  We have been blessed with the work here with the desire of Eldred Hess (pictured left) and Jim Cline (pictured to the right).  Both of these men are qualified and desirous to pursue this work.

            Elder qualifications are found in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.  Both according to these verses are qualified men and desire to help the work of the church here in Wooster in any way they can.

            The task of elders is to oversee the local work (Titus 1:10-16).  To make sure the Lord's will is carried out and sound doctrine is taught.  The truth is found through Christ and elders are to oversee this is being taught each and every day.  

            Both men have and continue to serve in all capacities of the work here. The brethren are very excited about this progress and hope and pray that if you have time to come and visit us here.

OUR PREACHER

Daniel Sanders started working with the brethren here in January 2010.  Daniel has worked with congregations in Arkansas and Indiana.  Daniel has may years of experience to preach and teach God's Word!

In June of 2005 he was married to Justina Griggs daughter of Robert and Sylvia Griggs of Sandusky Ohio.  They have three children Korrigan (born October 2006) and Ophylia (born July 2009) Emalise (June 2011). 

It has always been Daniel’s wishes to be a gospel minister.  He comes from a background where his dad Terry has been standing for truth for Daniel’s entire life.  Terry began working full time as a minister for the Church of Christ in 1990 beginning in Parkersburg West Virginia and from there has worked in Cincinnati Ohio and is currently working in Tuckerman Arkansas.  His brother-in-law Sean Sullivan is also a faithful minister.  He began working in Shoals Indiana and from there has worked in Norwalk Ohio and is currently in Newbern Tennessee.

Both of these individuals have played a large role in helping Daniel be where he is at today.  Daniel has worked in Blytheville Arkansas and also in Merrillville Indiana.  He has been preaching soundly since he was 13 years old.  He has helped many congregations over the years in spreading the gospel. 

It is my aim and goal to preach the word (II Timothy 4:2-5).  I want to help you understand and better your relationship with God.  I want to help you in any way possible.  If I can be of any help please feel free to talk to me at any time.  I am here and wanting to help anyone I possibly can making heaven your eternal home.  I want to extend this offer to you.  Please feel from to come as often as you can.  You will feel welcomed here.  You will be greeted and will be encouraged by the brethren here.  We will do nothing but speak and teach the truth from the Word of God!  We will not add anything to or take anything from the Word of God (Revelation 22:18-19).  We take the Word of God as being complete (II Timothy 3:16-17).  We hope and pray that you will be encouraged by this as we stand for truth in this community.

It is with this that I want to extend an invitation to you if you are living in the Wooster area or are visiting at some point to please come in and worship with us.  We will be glad you did.  We want to be an encouragement for you all here in Wooster.  The Church of Christ greets you (Romans 16:16) and welcomes you!
